If you favour metal in its most primal form, then prepare yourself, because this line-up is what you’ve been waiting for.  Soulfly will team up with City of Fire and Incite for a triple International tour of the nation, starting September 7.

Most bands slow down with age – not Soulfly.  More than 10 years since their self-titled debut album became a genre classic (and achieved Gold sales), they’re back, and they’re bringing their brutal heavy metal assault to the masses, showcasing their seventh album, Omen.   Led by former Sepultura frontman, Max Cavalera, Soulfly have become an even fiercer, fierier and more furious metallic monster.

Well known for their collaborations with up and coming talent, Soulfly will share top billing with Vancouver five piece, City of Fire, featuring members from Fear Factory and Strapping Young Lad – Burton C Bell, Byron Stroud and Jed Simon.

Despite only being in their current line up since 2008, City of Fire has created a name for themselves, delving into everything from metal to hard rock to punk.  Sonically hard, yet groove-heavy, they pay dutiful homage to their home-town, with a challenging, yet illuminating sound.

Preparing to create chaos in a whole new way, Soulfly and City of Fire will take their aural assault all over the country along with support from Phoenix natives, Incite (fronted by Richie Cavalera).

Incite & I Scream Records sign worldwide deal

We are very excited to welcome Incite to the I Scream Records family.

Incite from Phoenix, AZ, was founded by Richie Cavalera in 2004 and have put a lot of hard work in the past 5 years. By extensive touring in both North America and Europe Incite has begun building a solid fanbase and are on their way to become part of a new generation of inovators in the metal scene.

They're self released EP, "Divided We Fall", sold out in only a few months and the track "Army Of Darkness" even ended up in the Sirius Metal Charts.

"The Slaughter", the bands full length debut, was produced by Logan Mader (Devildriver, Divine Heresy, Cavalera Conspiracy) and is set for release in North America on October 20th and will hit stores on November 2nd in Europe.

Incite is set for a full North American tour in the fall of 2009 before heading back out to Europe in early 2010.

Live from LA. We have begun the recording of our debut album. I must say it is gonna be the shit. So far we have completed all 12 drum tracks and have begun guitars today. HELL YA The date is set for us to hit the studio to record our debut album!!!!! We will be heading to California to record with Logan Madder (Gojira, Devine heracy,CC) . It should be fucking kick ass knowing logan for a long time now it will make it a kick ass vibe. You should expect 10 songs and 2-3 b sides..of face blasting metal....If all goes well we should have this out to you by september or october....Get ready to incite the pits........

As the main support of this tour we really got our chance to show the metal heads what we can do...We have just finished writing the material for our first album and hopefully will be recording in may but that depends on the powers that be. Incite has no record deal.
